Victoria Hoover, Undergraduate Research Assistant
I'm a third year Speech and Hearing Science major with a minor in Linguistics. I'm a research assistant in the Language Perception Lab because I find it fascinating how the mind correctly perceives and interprets conversational speech despite articulatory reductions. Also, I'm personally investigating how English phonology has evolved internationally. Besides academia, I write songs for my own one-woman band as well as figure skate.
